2. Description of Service

PinPoint is a location-based social reconnection platform that allows users to:

• Drop time-limited location pins where meaningful moments occurred
• Browse profiles of other users who pinned the same location
• Send and receive connection requests to reconnect with people
• Report lost items and connect with finders in specific locations

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PinPoint. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept all responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

5. Privacy and Location Data

PinPoint requires access to your location data to function. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of location information as described in our Privacy Policy. Location pins are time-limited and automatically expire after the specified duration.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm another user
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
• Share false or misleading information
• Use the App to send spam, chain letters, or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from other users

7. Safety and Security

While PinPoint implements safety features, you are responsible for your own safety when meeting people or recovering items. We recommend:

• Meeting in public places
• Informing friends or family of your plans
• Never sharing sensitive personal information before meeting
• Trusting your instincts and reporting suspicious behavior

8. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of any content you submit to PinPoint. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with operating the App.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PinPoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App, including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the App. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PinPoint operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
